All right, now comes long journal entry

If you are lazy/tired/not-in-the-mood skip the first part and read only 2.) and 3.)


1.) I have always dreamed of being an artist when I grow up. Whatever it was – singer/musician, dancer, writer, actress, designer, painter and so on…
Later, I realized that can’t do many of these things. Too ugly to be a movie star, drawings not good enough to be paid for it, can’t sing/play any instrument, too lazy to dance…
Than I heard about some vampire book called Twilight. So I started to daydream (my best free time hobby). But later (idk, one month later?) I asked myself why couldn’t I write some vampire story? Come on! I’ve always wanted to be an artist, haven’t I? So I started to think about it more. Should I, shouldn’t I, what kind of story it would be, plot,… and how in the hell is a good book written?
Then started the funny thing.

- we started to learn about gothic literature in school ---) infors of the type of story I wanted
- suddenly all TV programs were FULL of vampire movies ---) information about many types of vampires
Funny, ain´t it?

So I decided that I really want AND going to write a book. (No, I didn’t fall on my head.)
I had gone through the whole internet to find infos of how to write, vampires (and other fantasy beings), symbols, and many other that I would need later on.
I created characters, plot, point of the story, places,…
One of the things I needed to do before writing was to actually read something similar. That is the reason why I asked you long time ago if the first book ´Twilight´ has a cliffhanger (too lazy to read the whole series). Well, yeah, I’ve bought myself for Christmas and read it. Except from twilight I had read also ´The Vampire Tapestry´ from Suzy Mckee Charnas (funny that the main character is HANDSOME /old but still HANDSOME/ VAMPIRE called EDWARD who loves FAST CARS and owns a SILVER car. Does it remind you of someone?) and ´Great Vampire Stories´ from many authors still awaits me.

And right now I’m ending the 7th chapter of my story ´Sins´. 38.000 words done, 80.000 more to come (or something like that).
That’s the reason I asked you why you like Twilight. I’m glad many of you liked it because of fantasy – because my story is fantasy too. And little dissapointed you liked it just thanks to the movie. That would mean my story could be successful only if it is filmed first.
In the previous journal I asked you what would you want in a good gothic novel and if you would read it. I’m delighted some people are interested in such types of books. Than again I don’t know how many of you don’t like that because the answers I got were only positive. That could mean that 1% likes it and 99% who didn’t comment on it would hate it.

5 facts about my ´book´
- my vampires are NOT GOING TO SPARKLE.
- all the narusasu and ´s sasodei made me want to create some TWO HOT GAY VAMPIRES.
- it is called SINS, and one of the main charas – vampire girl – represents lust, so there are going to be some juicy scenes (not too detailed, I want it for young adults not just 18+).
- WEREWOLVES. After I noticed that Meyer has got werewolves too I nearly shot myself. I hoped it NOT to be some kind of parody on Twilight. Well, my werewolves are going to be more Remus Lupin type, not Jacob Black type (big, bulky, hot to touch, topless)… at least that’s the plan.
- I hope it won’t end up like bad mix of Twilight, Harry Potter and Lord of Rings.

So now the question.
If you are interested in reading the first chapter and express your opinions about it whether it is interesting, boring, stupid or whatever, I’m willing to translate it into English and submit it here on DevART (probably with some picture from some scenes). If you want to read it say it in the comments. Please, if you don’t want to read it say that too. There would be no point in translation if only 1% would be interested and the other 99% wouldn’t care.
One chapter is quite long, around 5.800 words. It would consist of 2 parts and the translation will be rough (I’m just learning English, it is not my mother language)
But if something like that happens, it will be not posted sooner than in June.
And we are getting to the second point.

2.) Now I’ve got many hard exams – examination period – until the end of June.
That means I won’t update any or just very little pictures for a few days. I don’t know how long it is going to take (probably not very long). I will try, but I can’t promise you a new picture every week. I’m sorry.
